BrokerOS: turning a referral idea into a partner pipeline
BrokerOS connects US trucking companies that have a truck down with repair shops that can fix it — earning a referral fee only on completed jobs. My job: build the platform that convinces busy shop owners to join the network.
The interesting part: selling a new idea
Repair shops get pitched constantly and trust slowly. The site had to explain an unfamiliar commission model and remove every reason to hesitate — in one scroll, to a shop owner reading on a phone between jobs.
- A four-step “breakdown call to your bay” walkthrough instead of feature lists
- A worked dollar example showing exactly who pays what on a $1,000 brake job
- Objection-by-objection FAQ (fees, obligations, who invoices whom)
- A two-minute application form matched to how shops describe their own services
What it shows about how I work
I don’t hand over a template with your logo on it. Offer framing, page structure, copy, and code came from one place — which is what it takes for a page to actually convert, not just look finished.
